The Porsche Panamera

Panamera represents the pinnacle of the brand’s luxury prowess, fusing cutting-edge technology, effortless athleticism, and stately craftsmanship into a package that is unmistakably Porsche. Since its debut in 2009, the Panamera has opened new doors for Porsche, paving the way for a broader group of enthusiasts to enjoy a different side of the marque’s legendary performance and engineering.

Available in a variety of body styles with a wide selection of engines and Porsche’s comprehensive list of exclusively tailored options, the Panamera can be adapted to suit a vast array of motoring activities. Backing the Panamera’s power, poise, and performance is a suite of Porsche’s safety and connectivity features, optimizing your driving experience for the road ahead.

Panamera Body Styles

Panamera Sedan – The original platform for the Panamera features a four-door fastback configuration with a distinctive profile that mirrors that of the iconic Porsche 911 and houses a spacious cabin with seating for up to five.

Panamera Sport Turismo – The Sport Turismo augments the Panamera’s platform with a long-roof, five-door body that provides additional cargo capacity and versatility. An active lifestyle requires additional room to enjoy, and the Sport Turismo is prepared to deliver.

Panamera Executive – The flagship of the range, the Panamera Executive extends the Sedan platform by six inches, providing ample legroom for rear passengers, and an exclusive suite of options that are only available in the Executive model. While Porsches are built to be driven, the Executive shows that they are every bit a pleasure to be driven in as well.

Performance/Safety Option Highlights

Porsche Communication Management (PCM) – the Panamera’s audio, navigation, and communication system features a high-resolution 12” touch-screen with standard Bluetooth, USB, Auxiliary, and SD Card connectivity. The PCM interface is fully customizable with a suite of widgets, and these features can be enhanced with Connect Plus via a SIM Card slot with LTE connectivity.

Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) – An innovative air-suspension system strikes the perfect balance between sportiness and comfort, automatically adjusting the Panamera’s body movements under acceleration, braking, and cornering

* Standard on all Panamera models

Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) – Taking PDCC one step further, PASM allows the Panamera to monitor and adjust the stiffness of the suspension system, allowing the car to adapt to a more demanding array of driving conditions

Porsche Traction Management (PTM) – Porsche’s all-wheel-drive system is equipped with a series of sensors that continuously monitor road conditions in order to optimize power delivery individually to all four wheels.

Rear-Axle Steering – Balancing the size of a luxury sedan with the agility of a sports car, Porsche Rear-Axle Steering allows the Panamera’s rear wheels to steer in conjunction with the front. During low-speed maneuvers, the rear wheels turn in the opposite direction of the front, shrinking the Panamera’s turning radius. At highway speeds, the rear wheels steer in the same direction as the front, increasing stability.

Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) – Proven by Porsche’s motorsport division, ceramic composite brakes offer unmatched heat-resistance, which makes for stronger stopping performance and longer brake life

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) – This system utilizes radar sensors to monitor traffic conditions and maintain cruise control speed accordingly. ACC will even bring the Panamera to a complete stop, then accelerate back to set cruising speed when traffic clears, relieving some stress associated with extended drives and crowded highways.

Porsche InnoDrive – Building upon the technology offered by ACC, InnoDrive uses data from the Panamera’s GPS system to optimize the driving experience, taking into account traffic, road signs, turns, and elevation changes up to 1.8 miles ahead and combining this data to provide the smoothest and most efficient journey possible.
