New GM for Porsche Atlanta Perimeter

Michael McGregor has been named the new general manager of Porsche Atlanta Perimeter. Michael has worked for Jim Ellis Automotive for 15 years. His journey began at Porsche Atlanta Perimeter before being promoted to general manager of Jim Ellis Volkswagen Kennesaw, where he has been for the last three years. Now he is back to the dealership where it all began for him.

When he moved to Atlanta from his small town of Moultrie, Michael exclusively tried to gain employment at Jim Ellis because he wanted to work at a family-owned company where team members and culture are of paramount importance.

As general manager, Michael’s goal is to place primary focus on culture, consistency and national sales rankings. He intends to use his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Valdosta State University and his 15 years of experience in the automotive industry to achieve that goal at Porsche Atlanta Perimeter.

Michael’s first car was a hand-me-down Chevrolet Silverado. As much as he loved it, it didn’t stand a chance when he crashed it in front of his high school after class let out for the day! His favorite car sold at Porsche Atlanta Perimeter is a 2019 Porsche Speedster that was custom-ordered by a customer.

Michael loves spending time at home with his amazing wife and two active dogs. When he’s not tending to his backyard, Michael enjoys tagging along with his wife on her hunt for new hobbies that they can relish together.
